The following day, July 11, 2025, Stauber reflected on his participation at a local event aimed at economic growth. He wrote, "I was honored to speak at Better In Our Backyard's 3rd Annual Vista Event on Lake Superior last night. Great to join friends from all over the district to discuss our shared commitment to growing jobs and economic opportunity in Minnesota."

Stauber was born in Duluth in 1966 and resides in Hermantown. Before joining Congress in 2019, he served on the St. Louis County Commission from 2013 to 2019. He is an alumnus of Lake Superior State University.
