Pete Stauber, a U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 8th district since 2019, has been active on social media discussing legislative achievements and current events. Stauber, who succeeded Rick Nolan in Congress, also served on the St. Louis County Commission from 2013 to 2019.

On July 3, 2025, Stauber announced the passage of significant legislation with his post "PASSEDOne Big, Beautiful Bill Act". He described it as prioritizing American families and workers by delivering substantial tax cuts, enhancing energy independence, and securing national borders.

The following day, July 4, Stauber extended holiday greetings with his message "Happy Independence Day!" He wished for a safe and enjoyable celebration for all Americans with their loved ones.

On July 6, Stauber expressed his sorrow regarding a recent disaster in Texas through his tweet "I am heartbroken by the recent tragedy in Texas." He mentioned relief that fellow representatives' family members were unharmed but lamented the victims affected by the natural calamity.

Pete Stauber was born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1966 and currently resides in Hermantown. He graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990.
