Stauber has represented Minnesota's 8th District in Congress since succeeding Rick Nolan in 2019. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served on the St. Louis County Commission from 2013 to 2019. Born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1966, Stauber currently resides in Hermantown and holds a BA from Lake Superior State University.
