Pete Stauber, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 8th district since 2019, shared a series of posts on social media highlighting recent activities and his views on national policy.

On August 23, Stauber posted a message encouraging followers to review highlights from the week: "Check out some fun highlights from this week! https://t.co/5lvhWt7aaW".

The following day, he commented on the weather and outdoor life in his region: "Another beautiful day in the Northland! I hope you all were able to get out and enjoy the great outdoors with your loved ones. #ourwayoflife https://t.co/tShj4tyrvd" (August 24).

On August 25, Stauber addressed federal crime policy and partisan debate over safety in Washington, D.C.: "President Trump’s tough-on-crime policies are making Washington, D.C. safer!

Democrat politicians who continue to complain about the President’s efforts to clean DC up are only proving themselves to be disconnected from reality. https://t.co/xbiye5OphJ".

Stauber has represented Minnesota's 8th District in Congress since succeeding Rick Nolan in 2019. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served on the St. Louis County Commission from 2013 to 2019. Born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1966, Stauber currently resides in Hermantown and holds a BA from Lake Superior State University.
