Pete Stauber, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 8th district since 2019, shared updates on legislative achievements and local business visits through a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On August 13, 2025, Stauber wrote: "Honored to join @ProsperityMN to celebrate the One Big Beautiful Bill’s passage! This historic law delivers the largest tax cut in our nation’s history, secures our borders, boosts American energy, and empowers families and businesses. Thank you, AFP, for your support in putting https://t.co/7LfGn67uNk".
The following day, August 14, Stauber expressed gratitude towards national political figures with the post: "Thank God for President Trump and US Attorney Pirro for protecting us and standing up for what is right! https://t.co/GwDY1TJOhF".
Later that same day, he highlighted a visit to a local manufacturer: "Visited Broekema Conveyor Belts in Pine City this morning! Stauber has represented Minnesota's 8th District in Congress since replacing Rick Nolan in 2019. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served on the St. Louis County Commission from 2013 to 2019. Born in Duluth in 1966 and currently residing in Hermantown, Stauber graduated from Lake Superior State University with a BA in 1990.
