Pete Stauber shares updates and highlights from Minnesota Farmfest

Pete Stauber, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 8th district since 2019, shared updates from his visit to Farmfest, an annual agricultural event in Minnesota.

On August 5, 2025, Stauber posted, "Glad to be at Farmfest today to provide a policy update and hear from Minnesota’s farmers about the issues that matter most to them! https://t.co/Fxn69v7wYR".

The following day, he continued sharing highlights from the event. On August 6, 2025, Stauber wrote, "Minnesota Farmfest is always one of my favorite stops of the summer. Here are a few more highlights from a busy and productive day:". He also acknowledged the contributions of local organizations with another post on August 6: "Stopped by the @MNFarmBureau tent to thank them for their tireless work supporting our farmers! https://t.co/STuDXMbWEI".

Farmfest is recognized as a significant gathering for policymakers and agricultural stakeholders in Minnesota. Stauber’s participation underscores his ongoing engagement with rural communities in his district.

Before entering Congress in 2019 after succeeding Rick Nolan, Pete Stauber served on the St. Louis County Commission from 2013 to 2019. Born in Duluth in 1966 and currently residing in Hermantown, Stauber graduated with a BA from Lake Superior State University in 1990.
