Stauber, who previously served on the St. Louis County Commission and was born in Duluth, Minnesota, is focused on addressing both national security and local infrastructure issues.
On June 18, Stauber expressed his gratitude for joining discussions with the leadership of the MN National Guard, the 148th Fighter Wing, and Duluth Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee about modernizing air fleets. He emphasized its importance for national security by stating "Grateful to join the leadership of the MN National Guard, the 148th Fighter Wing, and Duluth Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee to discuss modernizing our air fleet. It is crucial for our national security that the brave men and women who defend our nation have the most".
The following day on June 19, Stauber visited Tamarack alongside state legislators and city leaders to address concerns regarding outdated sewer systems. He affirmed his commitment to resolving these community issues by saying "Visited Tamarack today with state legislators, city leadership, and the MN Rural Water Association to discuss solutions to the city’s outdated sewer system. I am committed to finding solutions for our communities!".
Later that same day, he joined Talon Metals to discuss their significant nickel project. Highlighting its potential impact on economic growth due to its high-grade quality, he remarked "Joined Talon Metals to discuss their world-class project. This is the world’s highest grade nickel find. 28% nickel grade is a game-changer for economic growth!".
