There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Anoka County in April compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are nine sex offenders registered in Anoka County in April.

The Registry shows one of these sex offender is sexual predator. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Kenneth Ray Levercom	Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Kenneth Levercom engaged in sexual conduct and contact with two known female teenagers. Conduct included exposing himself and solicitation. Contact included sexual touching.
Alexander Willington Jumper	Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree (2 counts), criminal sexual conduct in the third degree	Alexander Jumper has a history of sexual contact with known and unknown adult females. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Jumper gained access to one female by approaching her in a public setting. Physical force and coercion have been used to gain compliance.
Belford William Reitz	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Belford Reitz has a history of sexual contact with known male children and known female children and teenagers. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Reitz took advantage of one victim's vulnerable state to gain compliance.
Walter Brown	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, kidnapping	Walter Brown engaged in sexual contact with a known adult female and forced her to accompany him to another location. Contact included penetration. Force, weapons, threats, and an accomplice were used to gain compliance.
Jeramie George Corbett	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	At age 18, Jaymie Corbett aka: Jeramie Corbett engaged in sexual contact with a known female child on more than one occasion. Contact included penetration. Corbett used his position of authority to gain compliance.
Clifford Robert Letourneau	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Clifford Letourneau has a history of sexual contact with known female children and teenagers. Contact included sexual touching and penetration. Letourneau used his relationships and trust to gain unmonitored access. He used attention and affection to exploit that access.
Gary Lee Cherry Jr.	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Offender has a history of engaging in sexual conduct and contact with male and female victims (ages 8-13). Conduct included exposing. Contact included sexual touching. Offender gained compliance through bribery. Offender was known to victims.
Ronald Rudolph Ernst	Indecent exposure, penalties	Offender has a history of sexual conduct and contact with minor male and female victims (age 10-14). Conduct has included indecent exposure and showing pornography to victims. Contact has included sexual touching. Offender was known to victims.
Lewis Edward Byrd	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, predatory offense, non-MN statute	Lewis Byrd has a history of engaging in forced sexual contact against unknown female adults and a teenager. Contact has included penetration. Force, threats, manipulation, and a weapon have been used to gain control.
