The City Council adopted the preliminary 2023 property tax levy and operating budget on September 7. The 2023 property tax levy of $20.6 million is a 12.6% increase from the 2022 levy of $18.3 million.
Property specific notices will be mailed to all residences in November with comparisons of proposed property taxes by jurisdiction and year (2023 vs. 2022). Residents are encouraged to review their notice and attend the public information sessions identified by each taxing entity to learn more about their 2023 property taxes.
