Police Department Open House
Join the Cottage Grove Police Department on Thursday, October 6 from 4-7 p.m. at City Hall for our annual open house .You'll be able to take a facility tour and look at our vehicles and equipment. While you're there, be sure to check out our resource fair. Community groups like SoWashCo CARES, Community Education, RiseUp Recovery, Family Means and more will be there showcasing resources for residents.
Fire Department Open House
Fire prevention week begins on Oct. 9 and end Oct. 15. This year's motto, 'Fire Won't Wait. Plan Your Escape.' is what our fire and EMS services will be focusing their education to the public on. Be sure to follow them on Facebook for safety tips for your family all week long. Join the Cottage Grove Fire Department on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our annual open house! Fire prevention week ends with our Fire Department open house at our central fire station. You'll be able to watch kitchen fire demonstrations, take a station tour, learn from Regions Hospital and Marathon Refinery how we work together on the job, hold a fire hose, and even take a whack with a sledgehammer at our whack-a-car!
