Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on February 24.
Stillwater, MN - Chamber and community business members gathered together on Friday evening, February 18th, at the JX Event Center for the 6th annual Chamber Gala & Community Award Celebration. The Gala is the Greater Stillwater Chamber’s annual fundraising event to celebrate and acknowledge businesses and the community.
“This event is an opportunity for us to celebrate community leaders, business owners and our passionate community members who engage and make a difference here in the St. Croix Valley,” stated Robin Anthony, Chamber Executive Director. “This is the Chamber’s ‘big night’ to come together and celebrate!”
The event’s theme was Old Vegas! The throwback theme was felt throughout the event with gaming tables for guests to enjoy playing a variety of casino games. Showgirls and mobsters greeted guests as they were checking in, and Rat Pack-style music by Gary LaRue entertained during the social hour.
Studio Louise created a stunning floral display surrounding a lit up Welcome to Las Vegas sign that provided a beautiful backdrop to welcome guests for a photo opportunity!
Keeping with the Las Vegas theme, guests enjoyed a Las Vegas-style buffet featuring a large variety of delicious offerings and a dessert charcuterie by Bella Vida Catering.
A highlight of the evening is awarding the winners of the Community Awards. The evening’s emcee, Gregg Sainsbury, introduced each nominee and announced the winner in each category. Robin Anthony, Chamber executive director, presented each winner with an award and Congratulations.
