On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Park High School standout Will Smoot’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, lost 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park. This was their first matchup against the Hokies this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at Thomas Baseball Stadium against Miami RedHawks.
