On Saturday, April 19, former Hill-Murray High School standouts Matthew Fleischhacker and Mitch Gutknecht’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at UMC Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Bowyer Field against Concordia Golden Bears.
