On Saturday, April 19, former Park High School standout Will Smoot’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their third matchup against the Bears this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Appalachian State Mountaineers.
