On Sunday, March 23, former Hill-Murray High School standouts Matthew Fleischhacker and Mitch Gutknecht’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, lost 13-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.

The game took place at Bowyer Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 at 2:30 p.m. at Joe Faber Field against St. Cloud State Huskies.
