On Friday, March 21, former East Ridge High School standout Alex Mezzetti’s current college team, the UIC Flames, won 17-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Illinois Salukis.

The game took place at Itchy Jones Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Salukis this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium against Southern Illinois Salukis.
