On Monday, March 17, former Hill-Murray High School standouts Matthew Fleischhacker and Mitch Gutknecht’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at 3:40 p.m. at Historic Simmons Field against Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.
