Former Hill-Murray High School standout Mitch Gutknecht played on Sunday, May 18 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Sunday, May 18, former Hill-Murray High School standout Mitch Gutknecht’s current collegiate team the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks won 8-10 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at ISG Field at 4 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the tournament.

The Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 4 p.m. at ISG Field.
