Mitch Gutknecht, former Hill-Murray High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, May 15 in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Hill-Murray High School standout Mitch Gutknecht’s current collegiate team the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks lost 3-5 against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at ISG Field at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils in the tournament.

The Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at ISG Field.
