Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated the dedication of their gallery as ArtReach St. Croix’s Royal Credit Union Foundation Gallery with a ribbon cutting celebration on October 6th, 2022. The event took place at 224 4th Street North Stillwater, MN. Heather Rutledge, along with staff, board members, Royal Credit Union Foundation members, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors, members and staff were there to join in the celebration.
ArtReach St. Croix is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting the St. Croix Valley community and the visual, literary and performing arts.
ArtReach sponsors community arts events, supports the work of artists and other arts organizations, and provides arts leadership within the St. Croix Valley community.ArtReach St. Croix was founded in Stillwater, Minnesota in 1992, under the name River Valley Arts Council, as a grassroots organization and has grown into a community-based, multi-disciplinary organization serving artists and art patrons alike.
The newly named gallery space recognizes the investment from Royal Credit Union Foundation in capital improvements that focus on visitor services and energy efficiency. The Foundation awards grant funds to organizations in the communities Royal serves across Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota. Since it began in 2012, the RCU Foundation has given more than $7 million to local communities.
