GREATER STILLWATER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Welcomes Event Manager

Stillwater, MN - The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomes Heidi Stein to the Chamber staff, as Event manager. The Chamber staff is growing to meet the needs of the increasing membership of local businesses and programs & services offered by the Chamber, in addition to a variety of community events that are produced by the Chamber.

A transplant resident from Wisconsin, Heidi has lived in MN for 8 years and immediately fell in love with Stillwater upon moving to the state, with plans to move to Stillwater and raise a family in the near future. With a background in healthcare and physical therapy, Heidi became accustomed to caring for residents of the community and strives to implement lessons learned in healthcare into her new job as Event Manager.

Heidi graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, and graduated from St. Catherine University with Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. Heidi will be married to Matthew Riese in October who also has an affinity for Stillwater with weekends consisting of coffee and brunch in the River Valley area, and supporting local businesses. Heidi enjoys time spent with her 2 dogs Bowser and Hobbes, as well as gardening and saving the bees.

Heidi’s role as Event manager includes acting as a front-line staff person in the office with administrative tasks and providing prompt and excellent customer service to our members and our guests. The Chamber Event manager is also responsible to plan, coordinate and implement all community events.

“Heidi has enthusiastically embraced the many details of managing the Chamber events with a fresh perspective and ideas! She is a great addition to our hard-working staff!” shares Robin Anthony, president of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.
