SoWashCo CARES Education Foundation has two exciting events coming up and we are inviting you to participate. We hope you’ll join us for BOTH!

Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 7:30am - 10:30am

‘New School Year Kick-Off’ at East Ridge High School football field to welcome back and celebrate our teachers and staff!
You’re invited to have a booth at this FREE, fun event.
Please bring an interactive activity and a giveaway for the District staff to enjoy.

‘Mascot Dash Bash’ at Woodbury High School
We will host a 5K Race and a Mascot Dash.
Food for purchase & games for our community will be available.
This event is to raise funds to help support our students.

Cash Donations: Cash donations of any amount are greatly appreciated! Make checks out to SoWashCo CARES Education Foundation and return with the form enclosed sent to the address indicated or go to https://www.givemn.org/organization/South-Washington-County-Schools-Educational-Foundation to make an online donation. (QR Code for GiveMN also included on 3rd page.)
Sponsorships: Sponsor this event with a $250, $500 or $1000 donation. These Bronze, Silver and Gold sponsors will be recognized at the Dash Bash!
Gift Cards: Any gift cards to local lunch spots, coffee shops or any stores make great gifts of appreciation for teachers, staff or will be used in our Silent Auction.
Grocery Store/Gas Cards: This type of gift card may be given directly to students and families in need (these are very helpful for our homeless families).

How your donations help!

Donations help support SoWashCo CARES with the following initiatives:

Basic Needs Programs to ensure students have access to food, clothing (including winter clothing) and school supplies
Wellness Fund to reduce or fully cover cost of mental health resources for students that otherwise would not be able to access these resources
Financial Assistance Fund to reduce or fully cover participation in activities for students that otherwise would not be able to participate due to cost
Education Fund to support the needs brought forth by classroom teachers and district staff
