Home prices increased in Cottage Grove during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Cottage Grove rose by $33,000 while total sales decreased by 8.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 193 homes sold, with a median sale price of $353,000 - a 10.3 percent increase over the $320,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 211 homes sold in Cottage Grove in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Cottage Grove for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,514, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
