Stillwater Veterans Memorial 20th Annual Benefit Dinner Cruise

On Monday, August 15th, The Stillwater Veterans Memorial will host the 20th Annual Benefit Dinner Cruise honoring WWII and Korea Veterans. Cruise on the St. Croix Boat & Packet vessel the "Avalon Paddlewheel" from Stillwater on the beautiful St. Croix River. You will enjoy the SummerTime Capella Quartet singers, a buffet dinner and raffle.  

The program will include guest speaker Rev. Kenneth L. Beale Jr (Retired US Army Chaplain - Colonel). Chaplain Beale was commissioned as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve in 1987 at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. In the following years he completed several courses and graduated from U.S. Army War College where he received a Masters of Strategic Studies. Chaplain Beale retired as a colonel from the U.S. Army Reserve in 2012 and is the recipient of numerous service medals including the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star.  

Boarding begins at 4:30 P.M. with a 5:45 P.M. departure. The cruise is scheduled to return to dock at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are available at www.cruise.stillvetmem.org. $35 for each adult and $12 for children (17 and under). WWII and Korea Veterans and one guest are complimentary, courtesy of St. Croix Boat & Packet (limited availability).  

All proceeds from the annual benefit cruise goes toward the maintenance of our memorial and supports Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies and other on-site programming.
