The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local business, St. Croix Soccer Club, to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on June 1st, 2022. The event took place at the St Croix office - 5525 Memorial Ave N Suite 6, Stillwater, MN. Nathan Klonecki, board members, coaching staff, parents, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.
St. Croix Soccer Club was founded in 1984 and has evolved to become a regional power and destination club for elite players across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, while always honoring our ongoing commitment to offer outstanding programming to everyone in the St. Croix Valley.
The mission of St Croix Soccer Club is to introduce the game of soccer to youth players from 4-19 age groups. St Croix at the 4-9 age groups have their Rec programs called Dev League and Kickers. St Croix has competitive teams from 9-19 years old for both boys and girls and has over 900 youth players involved in competitive soccer. The Club has over 75 teams and 60 coaches. The Club hosts the St. Croix Cup Tournament for the past 19 years, bringing in thousands of people for the weekend with nearly 140 teams participating.
St Croix is excited to participate in the United States League two (pre-professional) called St Croix Legends. The nickname Legends is here to honor the Stillwater area with the loggers, sawmills, and the men and women who made Stillwater a lumber community.
St Croix Soccer Club strives to maintain an environment that embodies the core values of integrity, leadership, perseverance, respect and teamwork while enhancing self-esteem, promoting self-confidence and cultivating a lifelong passion for the game.
