Changes to Food Truck Licenses Approved

A37

Food trucks may now operate and serve food to the public in more parts of the city. The City Council at its April 6 meeting amended the city’s food truck ordinance so trucks may park and serve food to the public on any commercial or industrial property with the property owner’s consent. Trucks may still park on residential property but can only serve food at private catered events. The annual food truck license fee has been reduced from $350 to $250. If you have any questions, please email cityadmin@cottagegrovemn.gov. You can find more information and the application packet at CottageGroveMN.gov/FoodTrucks
