May 2022. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce Foundation (Chamber Foundation) is pleased to announce they will be hosting the Lumberjack Days Parade this year on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in partnership with the Locals who are hosting Lumberjack Days.
“Working with the Locals is a new adventure for the Chamber Foundation, and we are more than excited to work together to continue the long history of bringing the Lumberjack Days Parade to Stillwater,” states Robin Anthony, Executive Director of the Chamber and Chamber Foundation. Anthony who has 15+ experience with parades as a former marching band instructor and judge is looking forward to this new challenge. “We have a great team here to manage the parade and are looking to engage the entire business community,” Anthony continues.
The parade will follow the same parade route as in the past and the Chamber Foundation will pick up where the Locals left off, keeping this a popular community tradition. Sponsors will have their logo on a banner in the front part of the parade, shout out on social media platforms, a location on our website and listed in the final press release among other benefits.
The Foundation serves with a focus on education initiatives, workforce development, leadership programs, business development, and community events which will enrich the life of our communities. These initiatives allow the Chamber to collaborate with strategic partners and serve a diverse audience including community leaders, entrepreneurs, non-profits, civic organizations, businesses, educators, and students, as well as the general public. The Foundation was incorporated in 2021, as an inclusive 501c(3) non-profit to support the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce to continue to give back to our community.
