The first quarter of 2021: Home prices in Scandia fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Scandia fell by $96,500 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $333,500 - a 22.4% decrease over the $430,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Scandia in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Scandia for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,845, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
