Hastings (Washington County) home prices fell in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Hastings in Washington County fell by $58,250 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $515,500 - a 10.2% decrease over the $573,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Hastings in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Hastings for 2020 was $3,894. In 2019, the median sales tax was $3,714. This marks an increase of 4.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.8%.
