Rising home prices in Oakdale in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Oakdale rose by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 39.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 169 homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,000 - a 12.8% increase over the $235,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 281 homes sold in Oakdale in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Oakdale for 2020 was $3,066. In 2019, the median sales tax was $2,768. This marks an increase of 10.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
