Cottage Grove home prices rise in November 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2020 in Cottage Grove rose by $16,500 while total sales decreased by 44.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2020, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,500 - a 6.3% increase over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Cottage Grove in November 2019.

The median sales tax in Cottage Grove for 2020 was $3,514. In 2019, the median sales tax was $3,394. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
