House Rep. Glenn Gruenhagen (R-Glencoe) shared a letter on Facebook that he received from an angry citizen to be shared with Gov. Tim Walz regarding the recent special session.
In the letter, the citizen told Walz he was not an "angry citizen" but that he was an "angry governor" because he didn't get his way.
"If you were truly thinking of the Minnesota citizen, you would understand why the session failed," the citizen wrote. "If you were truly an angry citizen, you would understand the damage you have done to not only businesses but all the citizens – youth to elderly, by your continued peacetime emergency powers power grab."
The citizen wrote that Walz was an embarrassment to the state.
"You state the Republicans say it's their way or the highway," the citizen wrote. "No, governor, you are saying that. You are acting more like an angry child who is not getting his way, and in order to cover up your wrongdoing, you are lying and blaming everything on others, which is obviously something else you learned from being in Washington. You are responsible for the mess Minnesota is in, no one else."
