Cottage Grove home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Cottage Grove rose by $17,200 while total sales decreased by 46.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 112 homes sold, with a median sale price of $283,950 - a 6.4% increase over the $266,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 208 homes sold in Cottage Grove in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Cottage Grove for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,634, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
