Newport home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Newport rose by $35,850 while total sales increased by 38.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $217,850 - a 19.7% increase over the $182,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Newport in the fourth quarter of 2017.
