Scandia home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Scandia fell by $126,500 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $310,000 - a 29% decrease over the $436,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Scandia in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Scandia for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,173, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
