Cottage Grove home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Cottage Grove rose by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 28.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 107 homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000 - a 12.5% increase over the $240,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 150 homes sold in Cottage Grove in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Cottage Grove for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,634, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
