Bellaire home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Bellaire rose by $20,500 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $302,500 - a 7.3% increase over the $282,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Bellaire in 2018.

The median sales tax in Bellaire for 2019 was $3,335. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,123. This marks an increase of 6.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
