THOMAS EDISON HIGH SCHOOL: Schools Will Stay Closed Until May 4

Closedschool

Thomas Edison High School issued the following announcement on March 27

This afternoon, Governor Walz gave an executive order that all Minnesotans should stay in their homes (shelter in place) to avoid getting and spreading COVID-19. The order takes effect Friday, March 27 at midnight until April 10. He also announced that schools will stay closed until May 4.

This means that for MPS schools, we will stay closed from now until May 4 and students will not be coming back to their schools after spring break (April 6), but will stay in their homes until further notice. MPS will soon provide additional information on how Distance Learning will function for students during this time and how we will provide students who need a computer or device.
