Thomas Edison High School issued the following announcement on March 17
It's our first day without you here, and we miss you already. We are closing up the building today so it can be thoroughly cleaned, and we're bringing home everything we need to keep in touch with you and offer you continued opportunities to learn and earn. The lunch bus will be here every weekday between 10-2 until Spring Break--so come and pick up a lunch and snack.
Stay safe, keep your brains sharp (read people, read!), be active and try not to worry--we will figure all of this out in due time. Our greatest desire is to see your graduation day, and nothing will keep us from helping you get there. The path to graduation may not look like we thought it would, but it will happen.
There's a lot we don't know yet, but what we do know, is that you are strong, smart and true--there is no challenge you can't overcome.
