BOLD Public Schools issued the following announcement on Feb. 26.
Congratulations to Brady Ridler, Anthony Maher, Timothy Peppel, & Austin Kiecker for qualifying for State Wrestling!
Our 4 wrestlers will start on Friday morning. The first session opens at 9 AM, and Austin Kiecker at 120 pounds will be our first one up. He should be on the mat sometime between 9:05 – 9:15 AM. If possible, Brittany or I will send out the mat assignments for each mat as they come up.
If you want to watch the match(es) live, you can access it free of charge through track wrestling. They will broadcast all 8 mats. This link will get you to the correct location, and once the video starts streaming tomorrow, for team, you should be able to select one of the 8 mats to view. Since it is tough for kids and staff to go down to watch individual matches, I would encourage you to use the tech you have to put the match up on your SMART Board, if that is possible within your class. It would only interrupt your class for a few moments, and it is great for the kids down there to know that they have their peers watching them back home.
