Thomas Edison High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
11th Grade and 10th grade students are invited to take the PSAT exam on Wednesday, October 30. This exam is a practice test for the SAT (which students can take optionally in 11th and 12th grade). It is also the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship program for 11th graders, so only students who take the PSAT would be eligible for National Merit Scholarships.
The exam is free for students who are eligible for Free/Reduced lunch, and $17 for everyone else. The exam will begin promptly at 8:15AM on October 30. There are only 60 slots available, first-come, first-served. Students click on the link here to sign up for your slot!
