North High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.
The Minnesota Orchestra returns to North Community High School auditorium with a program that features Northside artists and performers as well as the first performance of Aaron Dworkin’s The American Rhapsody.
Combining spoken word with composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s evocative Symphonic Variations on an African Air, Dworkin’s multi-disciplinary work weaves together speeches and writings by George Washington to tell a distinctly American story. Led by Osmo Vänskä, the concert will feature North High School’s celebrated dance troupe, spoken word artists and more. Join us for this family-friendly evening!
Please note: Online tickets will not be available after 3pm on Friday, October 18, 2019. Remaining tickets will be available in person at North Community High School beginning at 5:30pm.
