The median sale price of a home sold in 2025 in Washington County rose by $12,000, while total sales decreased by 16.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

Throughout 2025, 2,281 homes were sold in the county, with a median sale price of $402,000. This is a 3.1% increase over the $390,000 median sale price during the same period in 2024, when there were 2,725 homes sold.

Based on the latest available data from 2022, the median property tax in Washington County was $3,860, which stands at 1% of the median home sale price for 2025.

U.S. home prices continued to rise in 2025, with the national median reaching about $447,000 in June. That’s up 1.13% from a year earlier, according to Redfin.
